My Goals reflection
I am now in the ending of my freshmen year, most of the things I have said in the beginning didn’t go as planned for me. I am still the same person from the beginning of the year just lost of interest in many things. My interest have change from the beginning because I was excited for high school and I wanted to have good grades and be a student athlete, I don’t have much motivation now but I'm trying to do my best again. My values of things have greatly changed over this year for example, in the beginning of the school year I enjoyed coming to school and going to soccer practice because I had a lot of interest and motivation. Now going to soccer practice feels like a chore to do, I don't enjoy it much anymore but I still try my best. When I wrote about my short term goals in September, I remember I wanted to maintain a 2.10 or higher, it didn’t go how I planned it to go therefore now I am trying again in school like I did in the beginning of the school year. As a result, when I become a sophomore I plan on doing my best in school and not slack off.
My long term goals were to maintain a good GPA to be accepted into a four year college after high school. I am not on track anymore to meet these goals because I did not meet my GPA goal for this year. Over the summer I plan on taking English class again to get a better grade than I did before in the second semester. No, none of my long term goals have changed, I still plan on going to college and becoming a good student athlete over the years in high school and in college.
My goals for my future self have not yet been changed, I still plan on going to a four year college to get a degree. I also plan on graduating from high school which is my first priority as of now. To reach this goal I have to turn in assignments, pass tests/quizzes and have good attendance which I know I can do if I really put effort. This summer I am going to retake English to make up credits/ grades to have better class options for sophomore year. When I am a sophomore I am motivated to keep up with passing grades and have better attendance than I did this year.
